107 Douglas Dawson Track has been in our family since the seventies. Known as the Triangle Block it was once the back paddock of our Beacon Hill Road farm. Building a house on the Triangle Block was Dad’s dream. Sadly he didn’t get to see Stony Rise Lodge, but his love of pottery and art is featured throughout as a nod to him.

Stony Rise Lodge is architecturally designed by our cousin, John Lea, as a contemporary take on the original Beacon Hill Road farmhouse. Our interiors, designed by Anne-Marie Pyne, reflect the colours of Robe’s unique landscape where bush meets coast with white polished concrete, lapis blue cabinetry and sage and tan accents.

From its inception, it was important to us that Stony Rise Lodge be a local project. Lovingly built and looked after by locals, the people you’ll meet at the Lodge are friends. We support local businesses by sourcing our food locally and our partners-in-fun are local experts.

We want you to love Robe as much as we do and we’re here to help you make the most of your stay. At Stony Rise Lodge we start with “yes” and we take care of the day-to-day so everyone can completely relax or play. We shop, cook, tidy, book, pack, drive and organise. We can keep it simple or dial-it-up to fancy – it’s your choice. We’re onsite 24/7, there when you need us and out of sight when you don’t. The Lodge is perfect for intimate family, group and special occasion gatherings
