Sundowners and Supper
Light Lodge dinner
We like to be social and we know you do too. Enjoy a light lodge supper selection and your complimentary sundowner at 6pm each evening as you mingle with other guests and the Stony Rise Lodge team. For more substantial meals we can recommend our favourite Robe restaurants and venues and assist you with making a booking.

The heart of Robe
Local specialities like crayfish, abalone, and gummy shark bring the fresh, bold flavours of the coast to our table. Seafood dishes are crafted to celebrate the unique offerings of the region, making every meal a taste of the Southern Ocean’s finest. Our seafood dinners must be pre-booked and are only available during stays of 2 nights or more.
From the Land
Farm and Garden Fresh
Fresh fruit and vegetables come from our friends’ Pete and Kate’s garden, as well as our own onsite kitchen garden, and we forage for herbs, seaweed, saltbush, muntries and other local treats.
Bar and Sundowners
A sundowner is a Lodge tradition. We’ll have the bar (and a house nibble) ready so you can enjoy a drink while welcoming the evening. All our glassware is made by Plumm with some family heirloom and vintage pieces.
We run an honesty bar and stock the wine rack, drinks fridge and bar to your taste. Wine is a personal thing, and you are welcome to drink ours or bring your own (we don’t charge corkage). Our wines aren’t fussy, we balance palate with pocket and have gathered a selection of red, white and sparkling wines from local winemakers and the Coonawarra (just an hour away) for you to try. Help yourself to the drink’s fridge filled with quality mixers, softies, non-alcoholic options and of course, plenty of fresh lemons. And did we mention the Zip Hydro Tap? Plumbed to rainwater, its super delicious bubbly refreshment on tap!
